The Foxhall Consulting Aproach

One of our primary goals in working with any client is to build their capacity to perform many if not all of the tasks for which they have hired us. While we do posses unique skill sets, we do not view our work process or product as proprietary, and work to transfer as much knowledge as possible to clients. There are many times when consultant support can be a strategic and efficient deployment of organizational resources; our goal is to ensure that our involvement leaves a client organization stronger internally than when we arrived.

Too often, consultants to non-profits on business ventures are cut from the for-profit mold and lack the textured understanding of the non-profit operating environment. Our experience working at, founding, and consulting with non-profits, alongside our for-profit experiences, affords us a more balanced approach to providing 'for-profit' oriented consulting support. In working with clients on developing and evaluating business ventures, we apply rigorous techniques commonly used in evaluating for-profit businesses, but thoughtfully adapted to the non-profit operating environment.

Our approach to working with clients is what truly sets us apart from other consultants. We have a collaborative approach to our work, and strive to involve clients throughout our process as we believe that successful outcomes grow from efforts that build on the expertise of the clients as well as the consulting team. We pride ourselves on the extremely high adoption rate we have documented with our projects. By working closely with our clients and their staff members throughout the process, the process becomes one that they own, and find more valuable.
